Manage Project Save Project

Save Project

Where are my Motif photo books, calendars, and cards saved?

To retrieve a saved Motif project, follow these simple steps:

  1. In Apple Photos, go to Projects in the left-hand sidebar. Click My Projects.
  2. Select the album you made with Motif. It has a blue Motif logo icon in front of it, with the same title as you have named it.
  3. Click the "Open" button. This will take you to the Motif photo project you have just selected.

How long can I save my photo albums, calendars, and cards?

There is no time limit for saving Motif projects. Motif references the images in your Photos library, so your projects will be fine as long as the images remain there.
However, please note that Motif does not copy the images you use into your projects. If you delete images from Photos, they will be removed from your Motif projects as well.

My photo projects have unexpectedly frozen and terminated. What should I do now?

If Photos on macOS or Motif has frozen, you can force quit Photos by holding down the "Command" and "Option" keys and pressing "Escape".

Earlier versions of Motif were incompatible with macOS Mojave and could cause crashes. If you experience a crash, please contact Motif Customer Support for help.
